FUNERAL SERVICES AT PRATUM, OREGON FOR LONG TIME RESIDENT

Pratum, Oregon. — Mrs. Christina E. Krehbiel, resident of this community since 1906, died at a Salem nursing home on Aug. 2 at the age of 88. Funeral services were conducted at the Golden chapel here on Aug. 4 by Rev. J. M. Franz.

Mrs. Krehbiel, a native of Donnellson, Iowa, had been a member of the Emmanuel Mennonite church here for 44 years. She and her husband, the late Val J. Krehbiel, operated a general store here from 1914 to 1945 and he also served as postmaster.
