Life-Long Resident Died at Donnellson

Donnellson, Iowa. — Funeral services were conducted at the Zion Mennonite Church here May 27 for Mrs. Emma H. Krebill, 75, wife of A. D. Krebill and a lifelong resident of this community. Rev. Harold Thiessen, the pastor, officiated.

Mrs. Krebill died May 24 at a Keokuk hospital. She was active in the local church and a member of several women's missionary groups, and also a leader in community organizations.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, one daughter, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson, brothers and sisters.

MRS. A. D. KREBILL

Mrs. A. D. Krebill, 75, died in Graham hospital in Keokuk, Iowa Thursday, May 24, at 11:55 a.m., after a short illness.

Emma H. Krebill, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Bank, was born Sept. 9, 1880 in Lee county, Iowa and had spent her entire life in the Donnellson community.

She was a member of Zion Mennonite church Womans' Mission Society and Goodwill Mission Circle of the church, charter member of the Anna Thatcher Koch Circle of King's Daughters of which she was president at the time of her death, charter member of the Donnellson Garden club, secretary of the War Dads Auxiliary and for many years had served on the Donnellson Community library board.

On Dec. 31, 1902, at Primrose, she was married to Albert D.Krebill, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Lloyd of Fort Dodge, Woodrow A., of Dallas, Tex., and Rolland F., of Keokuk; one daughter, Mrs. Mae Wolfe, Donnellson; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson; five brothers, her twin brother, Edward Bank, Enid, Okla., August Bank, Los Angeles, Calif., Fred C., Denver, Colo., Brig. Gen. (ret.) Carl C., Yucaipa, Calif., and Martin L., Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Drane, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Hulda Stringer, Chippewa Falls, Wis.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday in Zion Mennonite church, Rev. Harold thiessen officiating, Mrs. Howard Leisy, Mises Hilda, Lillian and Mary Krehbiel sang "Ivory Palaces" and "We Trust Thy Will," with Miss Lillian Krehbiel accompanying.

Interment was in the Mennonite cemetery.
