HENRY KRAUSE

Henry Krause of Lethbridge, Alta. passed a way Sept. 3 at age 56 following a heart attack. He was born and raised in Langham, Sask., completed high school in Dalmeny, Sask. and attended Saskatchewan Teachers College in Saskatoon. He started teaching in the Dalmeny area in 1957. He married Shirley Suderman July 1, 1958. He taught school in Nokomis, Sask. in 1959 and Watrous, Sask. in 1961. In 1965 the family moved to Lethbridge, where he taught at Wilson Junior High and Winston Churchill High School until his passing. He was a founding member of College Drive Community Church, serving as board chairman for the first 10 years and remaining active in the church. Highlighted in his Living Bible were words from Philippians which served as his life's motto: "Honour Christ by life or death." He is mourned by his wife; daughters Gwen Warkentin and Colleen Hirsche of Lethbridge; sons Gregory of Lethbridge and Lyle of Waldeck, Sask.; 4 grandchildren; 4 sisters and 3 brothers. The funeral was Sept. 7 in College Drive Community Church, with Abe Block ministering.
