MARY KRAMER

Mary Kramer died Mar. 29. She was born Oct. 29, 1911 to Peter and Katerina Dyck of Kronsweide, Ukraine. She had a loving, secure childhood until age 8 when bandits shot her father and two brothers, and her mother and another brother died of typhus soon after. The remaining children lived with the Nick Voth family, who shared what they had. She accepted the Lord as Saviour at 14. She immigrated to Canada with her married sister. She worked as a domestic, then went to Mennonite Collegiate Institute, Gretna, Man. She graduated from St. Boniface School of Nursing in 1945. She nursed in various Manitoba locations 34 years. She saw her work as ministry to God and people. She married Kart Kramer in 1983. They enjoyed travelling the world, visiting family, friends and mission churches. She loved music and singing. Predeceased by Karl, 8 siblings, she leaves 6 step-children, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. The funeral was April 2 in Elmwood MB Church, Winnipeg.
