SUSIE EDNA KRAHN

Susie Edna Krahn went to be with the Lord whom she loved at her home near Charlo, Mont. on June 23, 1964, after a lingering illness. Services were held at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church at Ronan, Mont. on June 26 with Rev. Erdmann officiating.

Mrs. Krahn, the former Susie Edna Toavs, was born April 20, 1913 at Ulen, Minn. She moved to the Wolf Point, Mont. area in the early 1920s with her family. She attended Wolf Point schools.

On Oct. 21, 1932 was married to Herbert Krahn of Langdon, N. D. in a ceremony in the Bethel Mennonite Church, Wolf Point, of which she was a member. They lived about 20 miles north of Wolf Point until 1949 when they moved to Charlo.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Marvin of Seely Lake and Larry of Charlo; and two daughters, Mrs. William F. (Verna) Hughes and Mrs. Dale O. Violet Kimmel of Seely Lake; her step-mother, Katie Toavs of Columbia Falls; 15 grandchildren, seven brothers and four sisters, aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Krahn's mother, Helena Wiens Toavs, preceded her in death in1914. Her father, N. F. Toavs, died in 1957 and a brother Wilmer Toavs in 1962.
