Leroy Edward Koehn was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob H. Koehn on Sept. 22, 1934. They lived on a farm near Plains, Kan., where he attended school and grew to manhood.

He and his parents attended services at the Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church near Kismet, Kan. On June 11, 1950, upon confession of faith in Christ as his Savior, he was baptized by Rev. Homer Sperling and became a member of the church. Later he served as Sunday school superintendent.

Currently he had been residing in Liberal. The past two years he had been employed by the south Ideal store. On Thursday night, Nov. 16, he became ill and was taken to the hospital. Before morning he lapsed into a coma. All day Friday and into the night everything medically possible was done for him. About 1 a.m. Saturday morning, Nov. 18, the Lord took him from us. He was 27.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob H. Koehn, and infant sister, and a half brother and sister. He leaves to mourn he [''sic''] departure his mother, Mrs. Anna Koehn, Kismet; four sisters, Mrs. Ralph Schmidt, Wilmore, Mrs. Martin Miller, Kismet, Mrs. Leonard Busby, Liberal, Mrs. John Kennedy, Hooker, Okla.; a half sister, Mrs. Ben Woodward, Bronson; his fiance, Emily Frazier, Liberal; nieces, nephews, and many friends. &#8212; The Family.

LEROY EDWARD KOEHN

Leroy Edward Koehn was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob H. Koehn on Sept. 22, 1934. They lived on a farm near Plains, Kan., where he attended school and grew to manhood.
