MRS. ANNA KOEHN

Anna Koehn, daughter of Andrew and Katie Ratzlaff, was born in Antinov, Poland, Russia on June 22, 1863. She came to America in 1880 and settled in Harvey county, Kansas.

In 1883 she was united in marriage to Andrew E. Koehn. To this union five children were born, three sons and two daughters.

Upon her confession of faith in the Lord Jesus as her personal Saviour she was baptized and was received as a member of the Mennonite Church. In 1879 they moved to Coy, Okla. where the family attended the Mennonite church. Some years later the family moved to Ringwood Okla., and from there to Enid, Okla.

She with her family resided in the Enid vicinity during her remaining days. On Oct. 16, 1938, she became a charter member of the Grace Mennonite church of Enid. On Feb. 11 that same year her husband preceded her in death.

On Friday, Aug. 13, 1954, she quietly passed into the beyond at the age of 91 years, one month and 22 days. The cause of her death was a heart attack.

She was a faithful wife and mother. She leaves to mourn her departure three sons, Fred, Herman and Carl, all of Enid; two daughters, Ruth Unruh of Enid and Katie Unruh of Hayward, Okla.; 33 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Goltry Mennonite church Aug. 16, 1945; final resting place, Karoma cemetery, Goltry, Okla. Rev. Albert J. Unruh and Rev. H. U. Schmidt were in charge.
