MRS. DENA KOEHN

Mrs. Dena Buller Koehn, daughter of Tobias and Susie Shultz Buller, was born near Meno, Okla., on February 19, 1901, and departed this life June 11, 1946, at the age of 45 years, three months, and 23 days.

She accepted Jesus as her Savior during her youth and upon the confession of her faith she was baptized on February 27, 1921, by Elder Abraham Ratzlaff, and was accepted as a member of the New Hopedale church of Meno. Later she joined the Greenfield Mennonite church of Carnegie, Okla., of which she was a member at the time of her death.

On February 10, 1926 she was united in marriage to Frank Koehn of Goltry, Okla. To this union five children were born: Clifford Eugene, Robert Lee, Alfred Fay, Arthur Dale, and Larry Dean. On March 1, 1926, she with her husband came to Alden, Okla., where she made her home until her death.

During the last year of her life she had to undergo trials and testings, but through it all she did not waver in her faith in god. She, with all true saints of God who have gone on before, witness to the triumph of faith.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, five sons, four sisters, three brothers, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, June 14, at the Greenfield church. Rev. Rudolph Schmidt was in charge of the service and spoke words of comfort. A quartet sang a German song, "Schlaf Whol," at the house, and an octet sang the following songs at the church service: "Good Morning Up There," "Will there Be Any Stars," "Shall We Gather At the River," and "Going Down the Valley."

The pallbearers were Herman Schmidt, Waldo Schmidt, Lavern Unruh, Herman Unruh, Lloyd Koehn, and Elmer Lee Koehn.
