Cecil Koehn

Cecil Koehn, son of Sam and Anna Koehn, was born January 18, 1927, near Chickasha, Oklahoma.

In December, 1933, he became ill and it was found that he had sugar diabetes. During these five years he has been kept up by the use of insulin. On April 3, 1938, he complained of a pain in his head, which the doctors said was caused by an infection in his ear. On April 16 he was taken to the Crippled Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla., where he died that same day at about 7:40 p.m.

Funeral services were conducted April 21, by Ruben Koehn and Ed Unruh in the Plainview church.

The remains were laid to rest in the nearby cemetery.

Jesus dries our tears and binds our broken hearts. We will meet again and never part. Sleep on, dear Cecil for God has thought it best to take you from this world of sorrow to a beautiful place of rest.

The sentiments of a broken-hearted family. — Selected by Helen Koehn.
