Funeral services for George Klassen, 79, a resident of the Bethesda Home at Goessel since 1962, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Aaron J. Epp officiating. Mr. Klassen died Saturday afternoon at the Bethesda Hospital. A Marion County native, he farmed in the Goessel community in earlier years. The family lived in Wyoming for several years, and later in Arizona, where Mrs. Klassen died in 1962. Surviving are four sons, Arnold, Rudolf, Johnnie, and Orlando, all employed at the Ganado Mission, Ganado, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a brother, Jacob G. Klassen of Goessel.

Funeral services for George Klassen, 79, a resident of the Bethesda Home at Goessel since 1962, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Aaron J. Epp officiating. Mr. Klassen died Saturday afternoon at the Bethesda Hospital. A Marion County native, he farmed in the Goessel community in earlier years. The family lived in Wyoming for several years, and later in Arizona, where Mrs. Klassen died in 1962.
