He had been a resident of the Sunshine Home in Buhler since April of this year. Mr. Klassen was the father of Doctors Sam S., Ted S. and Dan S. Klassen, all of Newton. Three sisters also reside here. Funeral services are announced for 10 a.m Thursday at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, with Rev. Marvin Hein officiating. |

• A. S. Klassen, 83, retired farmer of Hillsboro, died Monday morning at the Bethel Hospital here after being admitted to the hospital on Saturday. He had been a resident of the Sunshine Home in Buhler since April of this year. Mr. Klassen was the father of Doctors Sam S., Ted S. and Dan S. Klassen, all of Newton. Three sisters also reside here.
