Fatal Accident Near Chilliwack, B. C.

YOUNG MOTHER KILLED, THREE IN ANOTHER FAMILY BADLY HURT

Sardis, British Columbia. — A young Chilliwack mother was fatally hurt and three members of another family were reported seriously hurt and in fair condition in Chilliwack General hospital as result of a two-car collision near here Sunday afternoon, March 6.

Dead is Mrs. Anna Katie Klassen, 22. Her husband and two children, with whom she was riding, escaped with minor injuries.

Hospitalized were John Willems, with multiple fractures, his wife and their son Gerald, with multiple bruises. Another son, Reggie, escaped injury.

Cars occupied by the Klassen and Willems families collided at the junction of the old and new Trans-Canada highways seven miles west of here.
