MRS. ERLIS KINSINGER

Fannie Showalter Kinsinger, daughter of George and Amelia Nice Showalter, was born May 9, 1895 at Roseland, Neb. She passed from this life on Nov. 13, 1962 while visiting in the home of her brother, William Showalter of Omaha, Neb. , at the age of 67 years, six months, and four days.

She accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was baptized as a member of the Roseland Mennonite Church at Roseland, Neb. by D. G. Lapp. After her marriage she transferred her membership to the West Union Mennonite Church, Parnell, Iowa, where she was a faithful member at the time of her death.

On June 12, 1921 she was married to Erlis Kinsinger at Roseland. One child, Marvel, Mrs. Maynard Yoder of Fristoe, Mo., was born to this home. Bro. and Sister Kinsinger lived on a farm north of Wellman all of their married life until 1950 when they moved to their present home in Wellman.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter, her son-in-law, and the two grandchildren, Cecil and Marcella Yoder of Fristoe. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: William of Omaha, George of Anselm, Neb.; Ammon of Pomona, Calif.; Mary, Mrs. Clifford Roberts of Oxford; Alice, Mrs. Will Ehrman, and Ada, Mrs. Isaac Grabill of Roseland.

Her youngest brother Harry preceded her in death in November 1960, as did her oldest sister Emma in August 1961. One brother died in infancy.

The cause of her death was an apparent heart attack.

Fannie loved the Lord and served Him in various ways during her life. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and active in the sewing circle as long as she was able to attend.

During recent years her health was failing somewhat but even during those times she enjoyed witnessing for her Lord — several times from her hospital bed. During the time of sickness she showed patience and trust in the Lord.
