Pastor's Wife, Former Missionary Dies

Newport, Wash. — Funeral services were held Oct. 18 at the Spring Valley Mennonite Church for Mrs. W. Harley King, 65, whose husband is pastor of the church here. She died unexpectedly in her sleep on Oct. 14.

Mrs. King was the former Eunice Neuenschwander of Bluffton, Ohio. She and her husband shared more than 39 years of mission and pastoral work. After their marriage she assisted him in mission work near Flagstaff, Ariz. and at Ashland, Ore. under the General Conference Home Mission Board. Since then they have served in a number of pastorates, coming here in September 1964.

Surviving in addition to Rev. King are one daughter, Mrs. Wesley (Ethella Mae) Claassen of Watsonville, Calif.; three grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. Harris Waltner of Ritzville, Wash.
