Body of Amish Man Recovered from Northern Indiana Lake
Goshen, Ind. — The body of Amos K. King, 29, was recovered from the waters of Waubee Lake near Syracuse on Aug. 22, two days after he had gone to the lake to go wading.
A non-swimmer, he reportedly had gone to the public beach on the lake a number of times previously. It is believed he ventured out too far stepped into a deep hole.
Formerly of Parkesburg, Pa., he had lived with the Milo M. Miller family near Nappanee for a year and a half and was employed at a coach factory until recently.
