● Carl Kim, 85, of Buhler, a longtime Harvey County farmer and carpenter, died May 17 at his home. Funeral services were held May 20 at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church, Inman, with Frederick J. Obold officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, the former Lynda Buller; two daughters, Doris Friesen of Dodge and Dwala Smith of Yreka, Calif.; one brother, Ben of Longview, Wash.; two sisters, Katherine Schroeder of Hillsboro and Bertha Thiessen of Buhler; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
