He was a native of Lancaster, Pa. and a member of the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church here. The funeral was conducted at the church on March 28. Survivors include his widow, the former Lovina Miller, and three sons, all of the home, two sisters and two brothers.

Father of Three Killed in Iowa Logging Accident

Kalona, Ia. — A logging accident near Keswick, Ia. the afternoon of March 24 claimed the life of Arthur G. Kauffman, 44, of this community.

Yoder [sic Kauffman] was using an end loader to transfer logs from a skid to a truck, an while backing the machine's wheel dropped into a gulley [sic] and it overturned. he was crushed underneath.

He was a native of Lancaster, Pa. and a member of the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church here. The funeral was conducted at the church on March 28. Survivors include his widow, the former Lovina Miller, and three sons, all of the home, two sisters and two brothers.
