ACCIDENT ON MEXICO VACATION TRIP FATAL TO OREGON RESIDENT
Minot, N. D. — Mrs. L. A. Kauffman of Glendive, Mont. was notified of a fatal accident in Mexico which claimed the life of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Clayton Kauffman, the former Eva Roth.
Mr. and Mrs. Kauffman, of Albany, Oregon, were on a vacation trip through Mexico. Mr. Kauffman was injured and confined to the hospital.
The mother left for Oregon to be with her grandchildren, children of her son.

Services in Oregon For Accident Victim
Harrisburg, Ore. — Funeral services for Mrs. Clayton Kauffman, who lost her life in a highway accident in Mexico, were held at the Albany Mennonite Church on Jan. 13. She was a daughter of Frank Roths, Lebanon.
Mr. Kaufmfan [sic Kauffman] was seriousily [sic] injured in the accident, which occurred Jan.5 when their car crashed into a truck parked along the highway.
Less seriously hurt were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Whitaker of Albany, who were on the vacation trip to Mexico with the Kauffmans.
