• Miss Ella Kauffman, 77, formerly of the West Liberty community near Inman and a resident of McPherson the last 10 years, died at the McPherson Hospital last Friday after a brief illness. She is survived by a brother, Dr. Adam Kauffman of Ellinwood, Kan. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the West Liberty Mennonite Church, with Rev. Ed Birkey and Rev. M. A. Yoder of Hesston officiated.
