— Funeral services took place Monday afternoon at Hesston college for Eli Kauffman, 94, a member of the Hesston Mennonite church who passed away at the Bethel Deaconess hospital Friday morning. He had been a patient at the hospital for two weeks. Mr. Kauffman was born at Walnut Creek, Ohio, and had lived at Hesston for 31 years. He is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Lulu Kauffman and Harry Kauffman of Hesston, Mrs. Goldie Gingrich of Wichita, and Jason Kauffman of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Menno of Fresno, Ohio and Absolom of Portland, Ore; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial was made in the Pennsylvania cemetery at Zimmerdale.
