• An accident at the Ralph J. Kauffman farm northwest of Haven last Friday forenoon claimed the life of five-year-old Arlen Kauffman, who was struck by a truck which his father was backing out of a shed. He was dead on arrival at a Hutchinson hospital a short time later. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Yoder Mennonite Church, with Edward Yutzy, H. A. Diener and A. A. Bontrager officiating. Surviving in addition to the parents are three brothers of the home, and the grandparents, J. H. Kauffman of Haven and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Beckler of Milford, Neb.
