Famous Industrialist Dies in Honolulu

Henry J. Kaiser, famous industrialist estimated by some as second only to Henry Ford, died Aug. 24 in Honolulu at the age of 85.

Kaiser, head of a multimillion-dollar industrial empire, built the famous Boulder dam, constructed the fleet of Liberty ships during World War II, and in later years specialized in establishing hospitals and promoting other large-scale projects around the world.
