• Funeral services for Leonard H. Johnson, 77, retired farmer of the Montezuma community, were held in the Methodist church there on Saturday, with Rev. Frank Thomas and Rev. L. C. Campbell in charge. Mr. Johnson who moved to the Montezuma area in 1916, died Aug 17 at the Sublette Hospital. He was a member of the Ebenfeld Church, Montezuma. Mrs. Anna Smith of Newton is among six surviving children.
