HOLD FINAL SERVICES FOR VICTIM OF TRACTOR ACCIDENT AT BESSIE, OKLA.
Corn, Okla. — Funeral services were held at the Bessie M. B. church on Tuesday, Oct. 21, for Gustav Jaworsky, 68, who was instantly killed in a tractor accident the preceding Saturday at the farm of his son, Adolph, three miles southwest of Bessie. Services were in charge of Rev. J. K. Siemens, assisted by Rev. H. P. Kliewer of Balko.
The father was helping his son sow wheat, and was making the first round with the tractor and drill when he drove the machine into a deep ditch. Apparently he made no effort to avoid the ditch, and it was surmised that he may have had a heart attack. The tractor upset, pinning him underneath.
The deceased came to this country from Poland in 1900, and had farmed in the Bessie vicinity since 1902.
