• Funeral services were announced for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hutchinson First Mennonite Church for Kenneth W. Janzen, 29, who died in a car-train crash early Sunday morning southwest of Hutchinson. A speeding Santa Fe passenger train crashed into Mr. Janzen's car which was parked on the tracks, and it was thought his death was self-inflicted. He was employed by a Hutchinson manufacturing firm and also worked as a truck driver. Survivors include his widow, Arlene, and two sons of the home in Hutchinson; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Janzen of Hutchinson; two brothers and one sister. Rev. Arnold Funk was to officiate at the funeral.
