• Ben Janzen, 66, died Monday morning at his home in Hesston. Formerly a resident of the Goessel community, where he engaged in farming, he had lived at Hesston since 1956. In later years he had been employed by the Hesston Corp., retiring in 1965. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church, with Rev. John Gaeddert in charge. Survivors include his widow, the former Elizabeth Unruh; a daughter Doris of the home; one brother and four sisters.
