— Funeral services for Walter Janzen, lifelong resident of the Halstead community and a retired farmer, were held Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Halstead, Rev. Roland Goering officiating. Mr. Janzen died March 26 at the Halstead Hospital, reaching the age of 67. Surviving are his widow, Pearl, one daughter and one son, three grandchildren, four sisters and one brother, Mrs. G. D. Schroeder, Mrs. Freda Wiens and Mrs. Louise Ensz, all of Newton, Mrs. T. D. Hamilton of Albuquerque, N. M., and Herman Janzen of Newton.
