MRS. SUSIE A. JANZEN
Mrs. Susie A. Janzen, 82, died at Enid General Hospital, Enid, Okla., on May 12, 1968, after a brief illness.
She was born to Cornelius and Sarah Voth on Feb. 19, 1886 at Lehigh, Kan. She moved with her parents to El Reno, Okla. at the age of five. She made her profession of faith at the age of 16 and was baptized on June 15, 1902 and became a member of the Mennoville Mennonite Church near El Reno.
She later moved to Gotebo, Okla. with her family and there was united in marriage on April 13, 1911 to John J. Janzen by Rev. P. R. Voth. Their union was blessed by the birth of one child, a son.
They moved to Medford in the early 20s and had been members of the Medford Church since that time. It was their privilege to share God's blessings and work for 47 years before the union was broken by his death.
Mrs. Janzen was active in all programs of the church until the time of her death. Her deep concern for missions led her to devote much time and prayers and to share in the needs of God's work on the mission field.
Those who remain to cherish her memory and Christian example are her son Marvin and wife Regena of Medford, Okla., one granddaughter, two grandsons, one great-grandson and a host of friends and relatives.
