RALPH JANTZE

Ralph Jantze was born to Amos and Kathryn Zimmerman Jantze on Feb. 17, 1901, in Aurora, Neb., and died May 7, 1987, in Seward, Neb., at the age of 86.

He was married to Esther Reil on Aug. 31, 1924, at Milford, where he lived all his life except for a brief period at Wood River. His wife died on Jan. 9, 1982.

In his youth he was baptized and joined East Fairview Mennonite Church, Milford. Later he became a member of the Milford Mennonite Church and at the time of his death he was a member of Beth-El Mennonite Church.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Dale and Margaret Jantze of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Joyce Reil; and a sister, Edith Bontrager.

Funeral services were held May 9, 1987. at Beth-El Mennonite Church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
