EMIL M. JANTZ
Emil M. Jantz was born Sept. 12, 1884, in McPherson County, Kansas, the eighth of 11 children born to Jacob and Susanna (Redger) Jantz.
On Feb. 12, 1912, he was united in marriage to Sarah J. Holdeman. They shared life together for almost 56 years. They farmed in McPherson County until 1927 when they moved to a farm near Walton, Kan. To this union five children were born.
Upon accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, he was baptized in 1922 and received as a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church, Hesston, Kan., of which he remained a faithful and interested member until his passing.
