RITA ISAAC

Rita Lois Kliewer Isaac was born on Oct 1, 1944, in Glasgow, Mont. to Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kliewer of Frazer. She attended the Lustre schools, graduating from Lustre Bible Academy in 1962. She then attended grace Bible Institute in Omaha, Neb. from which she graduated in 1966.

She was married to Gary Isaac of Whitewater, Kan. on July 5, 1966. They enrolled in and completed missionary internship in Detroit, Mich. in preparation for missionary service in Europe.

In the summer of 1967 during candidate school of the Greater Europe Mission, it was discovered that Rita had acute leukemia. They moved to Mundelein, Ill where Gary attended the Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. The Lord was gracious so that Rita elt well enough to do secretarial work for a year and a half. Following several periods in the hospital numerous transfusions and medications, and after several days' illness in her home, she entered into rest in her sleep on march 4, 1970.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, one sister Jean, one brother Alan, her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Kliewer, her maternal grandfather, Victor Cherney, aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as a host of friends.

The family rejoices in the promise of the Holy Scripture "concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
