KIOWA COUNTY, KAN. FARMER DIES

Greensburg, Kan. — Funeral services for Pete Isaac, Kiowa County farmer who came to this area from Inman, Kan. in 1914, were arranged for March 25 at the Faith Mennonite Church. He died at the local hospital on March 21 at the age of 70.

Survivors include his widow, the former Anna Unruh, two daughters, two sons, and six grandchildren.

PETE ISAAC

Pete Isaac, son of Abraham and Marie Isaac, was born on August 2, 1892 near Inman, Kan. He passed away at the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, Kan. at the age of 70 years, seven months, and 19 days.

He attended elementary school near Inman and continued his education through much reading and study. He was a member of the Faith Mennonite Church. He was active in church and missionary work and loved to study the Scriptures.

In 1914 he moved to a farm near Greensburg where he spent the remainder of his life. He was married to Anna Unruh on Jan. 18, 1916. They shared life's joys and sorrows for over 47 years. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Rodger Dean Isaac.

Surviving are his wife, Anna, of the home, two sons, David of Dinuba, Calif. and Martin of Bend, Oregon; two daughters, Marie Peters of Inman, and Luella Gering of Kingman; six grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Adrian of Dinuba, Calif. and Mary Fehdrau of Reedley, Calif., and a host of relatives and friends.
