MARIE HUEBERT

Marie Huebert of Leamington, Ont. passed away on November 2l. She was born on March 24, 1913 to Abraham and Anna (Bergen) Huebert in Friedensruh, Ukraine, Russia; her family emigrated in 1929; after 6 months in German refugee camps they came to Point Pelee, Ont.; moved to Leamington in 1933; was a talented craftsperson and member of the Leamington Weavers Guild. As a teenager she accepted Jesus as her Saviour during a revival in Russia. She is survived by three sisters: Anna (Mrs. Isaac) Tiessen of Strathroy, Margeret (Mrs. Jacob) Pankratz of St. Catharines and Luise (Mrs. Henry) Buller of Windsor (all Ont.); three nieces and three nephews. The funeral was held on November 24 in the Leamington MB Church, with pastor Art Willms, David Derksen and Leonard O'Neil in charge.
