+ | Franz F. Hubert passed away on Jan.1st, 1964 at the age of 88 years. He was born in the Ukraine, where he grew up and joined the Mennonite Church. He was married twice and became the father of 13 children. He was predeceased by both his first and second wife and also by 5 children. |
In 1907 the family moved to Siberia where they prospered. After the revolution they left Russia and came to Canada. They lived at Duchess for a year, later moving to Coaldale where the family has resided since. On Dec. 26th Mr. Hubert suffered a heart attack and was taken to the Coaldale Hospital where he passed away a few days later. He died in the firm faith that "The Lord is my shepherd." He leaves to mourn one older brother Jakob, in Brazil, 4 sons, all of Coaldale, 4 daughters, 27 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. |
