FATHER OF MENNONITE HOUR PASTOR KILLED IN AUTO ACCIDENT

Harrisonburg, Va. — Word was received early Tuesday morning, April 27, of the sudden death of Monroe H. Hostetter, Manheim, Pa. who was fatally injured in an automobile accident that same morning. He was in his late sixties.

Mr. Hostetter was the father of B. Charles Hostetter of Park View, known to many as radio pastor of the Mennonite Hour heard over a number of stations each Sunday.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Manheim church by Homer Bomberger, Milton Brackbill and Ira Huber.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; one daughter, Mildred, and two sons, Charles and James; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
