Died Suddenly At Age 81

Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services for Mrs. Leah Hostetler, 81, well known resident of the Amish community here, took place March 3 at the Mose N. Miller home. She passed away Feb. 28 a few hours after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

The funeral was widely attended, relatives and friends coming from Kansas, Ohio, and Marshall county, Ind. Ministers taking part were Jonas D. Mast of LaGrange, Amos Yoder of Fairview, Iowa, Levi Stutzman of Nappanee, Daniel J. Coblentz and Joe M. Miller, both of Stark County, Ohio, and William L. Bontrager. Burial was made in the Yoder cemetery at the side of her husband, David D. Hostetler.

She is survived by two sons, four daughters, three brothers and one sister.
