Business Man Dies On Ethiopia Visit

Lancaster, Pa. — William S. Horst, well-known business man of the Gap community near here, died unexpectedly Feb. 12 while visiting his son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Rohrer Eshleman, missionaries in Nazareth, Ethiopia. Death apparently was due to a heart attack.

Mr. and Mrs. Host left the States Feb. 1, and were planning to tour East Africa with the Eshlemans before returning home.

Mr. Horst was owner of the W. S. Horst Plumbing and Heating concern at Gap and was an active member of the Weaverland Mennonite church. He was well known to Eastern Board missionaries for his service of recording messages on tape and sending them to overseas fields.

Burial took place in Addis Ababa on Feb. 13.
