Three Archbold, O. Young People Killed En Rout to University

Archbold, Ohio. — Separate funeral services were conducted at churches here last week for three Archbold young people who lost their lives in a highway tragedy west of Bowling Green on Sunday, Feb. 10. All were students at Ohio State University and were returning there after spending the week end at home.

Services for Eugene E. Schrock, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Schrock, were held Thursday afternoon at the Tedrow Mennonite Church in charge of Roy Sauder and Olen Nofziger. The same afternoon services were held at the Central Mennonite Church for Gary D. Rupp, 23, son of Mrs. Elnora Rupp of Route 2, Archbold.

Services for Teresa Holian, 21, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nestor Holian, were conducted Thursday forenoon in St. Peter's Catholic Church.

The Schrock youth also leaves two brothers and four sisters, and the Rupp youth is survived by his mother and one brother, Tom.

The car in which the three young people were traveling skidded on a patch of ice on U. S. 6 and was hit broadside by an oncoming tractor.
