FORMER KIDRON RESIDENT DIES

Kidron, Ohio. — Sudden death came to Peter P. Hofstetter, 74, July 12 in the Sippo Park, Massillon, where he had been working for some years.

After partaking of his lunch, he assisted a group of picknickers [sic] in putting up tables and seemed entirely well and in good spirits. He then seated himself on the steps of the recreation building where it was thought he was resting.

Since he did not appear at work, friends investigated and found him dead, still seated on the steps. It is thought he died soon after he sat down to rest. Mr. Hofstetter was a former resident of the Kidron community.
