80-YEAR-OLD KIDRON, OHIO RESIDENT DIES IN CROSSING ACCIDENT
Kidron, Ohio. — Funeral services for Jacob C. Hofstetter, 80-year old retired farmer who lost his life in a grade crossing accident March 29, were held at the Salem Mennonite church on March 31. Rev. A. J. Neuenschwander of Wadsworth officiated at the services, which were attended by a wide circle of relatives and friends.
Mr. Hofstetter, a lifelong resident of this community, drove his pick-up truck into the path of a Nickle [suc Nickel] Plate freight train southwest of Dalton and was fatally injured.
