MRS. HENRY HOFFMAN

Tina E. Harder was born June 7, 1902 to Jacob C. and Anna (Enns) Harder near Starkweather, N.D. The family farmed in the Munich, N.D. area.

From childhood she attended the Salem Mennonite Church in Munich, and on May 13, 1920 was baptized there by N. F. Toews. She was one of the first church organists.

She was married on July 9, 1926 to Henry Hoffman at the Salem church by B. B. Fadenrecht. The couple farmed near Munich until moving into town in 1961. She died on Jan. 5, 1980 at Devils Lake, N.D.

She is survived by her husband; sons Arlo of Munich and Ralph of Minot; a daughter, Elvira (Mrs. Philip) Beckenhauer of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, John Harder of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Hilda (Mrs. Everett) Simon of Devils Lake, N.D.; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter in infancy; a brother, Abraham; and a sister, Agatha (Mrs. Frank) Friesen of Henderson, Neb.

Funeral services were held Jan. 8 at Salem Mennonite Church with Douglas Hornok officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
