A two-ton meat delivery truck skidded out of control on the slippery highway into the path of Hochstetler's auto. The truck driver was unhurt.

Amish Youth Killed Near Nappanee, Ind.

Goshen, Ind. — A car and truck collided on US-6 at the west edge of Nappanee the evening of Jan. 18, bringing death to the 18-year-old Amish youth at the wheel of the car.

Funeral services for John Henry Hochstetler, were held Jan. 21 at the family home southwest of Nappanee. The youth's father, John Henry, died of polio in 1952 the day he was born.

A two-ton meat delivery truck skidded out of control on the slippery highway into the path of Hochstetler's auto. The truck driver was unhurt.
