text of obituary: " Mother of Missionary Called Away in Death

Berne, Ind. — Mrs. Herman Hirschy, 65, died April 21 in the Adams County Memorial Hospital after being ill three weeks with a heart ailment.

Surviving in addition to her husband are five children including Mrs. Leon Schanely, a missionary in New Guinea. The other children are Gordon W. of National City, Calif., Richard H. of Berne, Shirley M. at home, and Neva L., a student at Fort Wayne Bible College.

The former Martha L. Sprunger, she was a lifelong resident of this community.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite Church here with Rev. Gordon Neuenschwander officiating.
