| + | In March 1895 the family moved to Perry, Okla. where Menno grew to young manhood. He attended the district school at Perry. Here he also was baptized by his father, Rev. C. E. Hirschler, and was received as a member of the Mennonite church. He remained a member of the Perry church until September 1915 when the family moved to Hanston, Kan. He then transferred his membership to the Hanston Mennonite Church where he was a faithful member at the time of death. |

MENNO J. HIRSCHLER
Menno J. Hirschler was born to Christian and Elizabeth (Ewy) Hirschler at Moundridge, Kan. on Nov. 22, 1892 and died at the Halstead Hospital on April 10, 1975 after a long illness.
In March 1895 the family moved to Perry, Okla. where Menno grew to young manhood. He attended the district school at Perry. Here he also was baptized by his father, Rev. C. E. Hirschler, and was received as a member of the Mennonite church. He remained a member of the Perry church until September 1915 when the family moved to Hanston, Kan. He then transferred his membership to the Hanston Mennonite Church where he was a faithful member at the time of death.
On Aug. 18, 1934 he married Lydia Ann Miller of Hanston. She died in December 1943. One daughter, Thelma Ann, was born to them. On Aug. 17, 1947 he married Katie Voran of Moundridge, Kan.
