Death Comes To 5-Year-Old Boy

Berne, Ind. — Release from suffering came on Sunday, Sept. 26, for little David E. Hilty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hilty who was seriously ill for three of the five years of his life. He died at the Adams County Memorial hospital, Decatur, of a kidney ailment.

Funeral services were conducted Sept. 28 at the parents' home in the Amish community near here, with Amos Graber of Nappanee officiating.

He is survived by the parents, three brothers, a number of half brothers and half sisters, and the grandparents, Mrs. Anna Hilty of Route 1, Berne, and Tobias Hostetters of Fredericksburg, Ohio.
