• Charles B. Hilderbrand, 67, of Newton died unexpectedly May 14 in Wichita. The funeral was conducted Saturday forenoon at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel, with Rev. Levi Koehn in charge. Survivors include his widow, Marie; three step-daughters, Mrs. Richard Reimer and Mrs. Ray Reimer, both of the Canton community, and Mrs. Lawrence Foiles of Orange, Calif.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, one sister, and a half-brother.
