Mrs. David Hildebrsandt

Mary Schmidt Hildebrandt, daughter of Henry and Maria Schmidt, was born December 3, 1865, in Friedensdorf, South Russia. She came to America with her parents in the year 1875 and was baptized on September 4, 1884, upon confession of her faith in Jesus Christ her Savior by Elder Jacob Buller. She joined the Alexanderwohl church of which by the grace of God she remained a faithful member until her end.

She was married to David Hildebrandt and lived in the state of matrimony exactly 45 years. To this union 8 children were born. Two died in infancy and one daughter died at the age of 17 years. Mrs. Hildebandt was sick 7 years and took her suffering calmly and quietly and let the Lord have his way. During the last week the doctor was called and declared her condition serious. She was ready to go to her heavenly home and on Nov. 18, 1935, she passed away at 9:30 o'clock A. M. at an age of 69 years, 11 months and 14 days. She leaves to mourn her husband, David Hildebrandt, 5 children, 2 sons and 3 daughters; 3 sons-in-law, and 2daughters-in-law and 19 grandchildren, of which 2 preceded her in death. She also leaves one brother, Henry Schmidt, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Peter Loewen. We keenly feel our loss but we live in hope for a glorious meeting, when we too will reach the heavenly home.

The bereaved family.
