— A large number of relatives and friends attended funeral services at the Moody's Funeral Chapel here Saturday afternoon for Mrs. George Hildebrand, 41, the former Amanda Thiessen, who died June 28 at Dallas, Texas, Rev. J. P. Balzer of Inman officiated at the service here, after which the body was sent to Dinuba, Calif. the final services on Tuesday at the Zion K.M.B. church, of which she was a member. Mrs. Hildebrand had been in failing health for some time and with her husband had flown from Dinuba to Dallas to seek medical aid. A native of the Inman community, she resided in Newton for a number of years while employed as intertype operator at the Herald Book and Printing Co. Her marriage to Mr. Hildebrand took place here March 3, 1954. Surviving in addition to her husband are four brothers and eight sisters, all residing in the central Kansas area except a sister at Dinuba and one at Blaine, Wash.
