Wichita, Kan. — Funeral services were conducted Nov. 19 at St. James Episcopal Church here for Franklin Hiebert, 50, well-known Wichita attorney and music patron. He died Nov. 16 at Wesley Medical Center.

A resident here since 1921, Mr. Hiebert was the son of Cornelius and Anna (Eitzen) Hiebert and a nephew of the late Dr. P. C. Hiebert, a leader in the Mennonite Brethren Church and long-time chairman of the Mennonite Central Committee.

Mr. Hiebert was a graduate of McPherson College and the University of Kansas School of Law, and a member of local, state and national bar associations. An enthusiastic supporter of music activities here, he owned an outstanding collection of musical instruments. The Hiebert home was frequently the scene of music recitals.
