TINA BUHLER HIEBERT
Mrs. Tina Buhler Hiebert was born March 6, 1895, on a farm near Mountain Lake, Minn. to Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Wall Buhler. She received her elementary education at the German School and public school of Mountain Lake.
At the age of 15 she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and was baptized upon confession of her faith May 16, 1910, by Elder Hy. I. Dick. She was received into the membership of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church, and later transferred her membership to Bethel Mennonite Church, where she remained a faithful member until her departure.
On Nov. 1, 1918, she was united in holy matrimony to Frank B. Hiebert of Bingham Lake, Minn. They resided on a farm near Bingham Lake, where they shared the joys and sorrows of life for nearly 45 years. This union was blessed with three sons and one daughter.
She served faithfully in various activities of the church, such as mission society, Sunday school, and relief and project committees.
During her entire span of life she was a lover of flowers and enjoyed the fellowship of her many friends. Her warm and friendly personality endeared her to all who knew her. One of her greatest concerns was for the spiritual welfare of her children and grandchildren, that they would accept the Lord as their Saviour, live a dedicated life, and be prepared to join her in the heavenly Home.
On May 27 she became seriously ill and was immediately rushed to the Windom hospital. After two days of intense suffering she peacefully went to be with her Lord. She reached the age of 68 years, two months, and 23 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Frank; the children, Leonard and Jacqueline of Browerville, Minn., George and Barbara of Minneapolis, Minn., Ted and Rena of Kasson, Minn., and Annie, at home; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Gerhard H. Fast of Mountain Lake; two brothers, Gerhard Buhler of Freeman, S. D. and Aaron Buhler of Mountain Lake; and a host of relatives and friends.
We as a family do not mourn as those that have no hope, but expect to see our mother again. — The Family.
